These Modern Times

These Modern TimesIt took about a month for the pills to do their job, but I  finally become the person I longed to be.  I can only imagine the dysphoria and fear that filled people’s lives before DNA altering pills became commonplace, and turned years of effort into months of passively waiting for change.  I was now a lovely young woman, and the world accepted it like it was nothing.  How lucky I am to live in these modern times!
