The Great Shift sent me from Maine to Texas in the blink of the eye. The late autumn chill I once felt was replaced with a warm breeze. My receding hairline and wool hat were replaced with flowing hair and a spiffy hat. While my jacket and sneakers were replaced with a violet floral sundress and some heeled boots. I should have panicked a bit, but I was too enticed about my form to worry about how I’d get back home, let alone what the hell just happened.
